Men's Open Am Am (Cancelled) Rules

1. All competitors must be male playing members of a recognised golf club. Fully completed entry forms must be accompanied by a cheque for £170, payable to Sandiway Golf Club, together with a stamped addressed envelope. Bookings can be made online via the website – www.sandiwaygolf.co.uk

2. The competition will be a 4-man team event Stableford, with a handicap allowance of 90%. The maximum handicap allowed is 28, with 2 scores to count on each hole.

3. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without assigning a reason and entry fees will not be refunded on any entry cancelled after 1st June 2020.

4. All disputes will be referred to the Committee for its decision, which will be final in all instances. In the event of a tie or ties, the Rules of Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs will apply.

5. Competitors will be made temporary members of Sandiway Golf Club for the day. Smart casual dress is allowed in the Clubhouse.

6. All prize winners will be required to submit an up to date official CONGU handicap certificate.

7. Catering will be available throughout the day. Please order before play on the day of the competition.

8. Players are requested to report to the starter on the 1st tee 10 minutes before their allotted tee time.

9 Entry fees will not be returned if cancellations cannot be replaced.

10. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and starting times will be allocated as soon as entries are received. Closing date for entries is 1st July 2019.

11. Private buggies are not permitted at Sandiway GC. Some Club buggies are available for hire by disabled golfers with an appropriate medical certificate. These buggies must be requested at the time of entry to the competition. Please contact the Pro shop to request a buggy or for full details of the Club’s buggy policy.
